You do not have to keep managing this alone.

If any of these feel familiar, you are not the first person to sit with them. And you do not have to figure it out by yourself.

Promising yourself it will be the last time

Hiding behavior from your spouse

Feeling emotionally disconnected

Meet Your Counselor

Direct when you need honesty. Compassionate when you need help.

Rob McIntire brings more than twenty years of counseling experience, specializing in addiction, sexual integrity, marriage and family therapy, trauma, and men's issues. He is a Certified Addiction Specialist with training in EMDR and sex therapy.

Before becoming a counselor, Rob spent more than seventeen years in law enforcement as a narcotics and burglary detective, deputy sheriff, and training officer. That background gave him a direct, clear-eyed understanding of the patterns people fall into and the honest work it takes to change them.

Rob combines clinical knowledge with real-world experience, accountability with compassion, and faith with practical tools. He will not waste your time. He will not judge you. And he will not let you stay stuck.

The Recovery Pattern

Understanding the pattern is the first step toward changing it.

Most addictive and compulsive behaviors follow a predictable cycle. Explore each stage below, then see how counseling interrupts it.

⚡
1

Trigger

Where it starts

Stress, conflict, loneliness, boredom, or unresolved pain activates the pattern. The brain begins searching for its familiar escape route, often before you are even conscious of it.

The Process

How counseling works.

No mystery. No vague promises. A clear process designed to create real change.

01

Reach Out Privately

Contact Rob through the website, phone, or email. Share only what you are comfortable with.

02

Discuss What Has Been Happening

An initial conversation to understand your situation, concerns, and what you want to change.

03

Identify Priorities and Patterns

Together, you will clarify what needs attention first and understand the patterns driving the problem.

04

Build a Clear Counseling Plan

A structured approach tailored to your specific situation, with concrete goals and practical steps.

05

Practice Accountability

Apply new tools, build healthier responses, and have honest conversations about progress and setbacks.

06

Measure Meaningful Progress

Track real changes in your behavior, relationships, and quality of life, not just how you feel in session.

Progress is rarely perfectly linear. Counseling provides structure, support, and accountability through setbacks and growth. The goal is not perfection; it is consistent, honest forward movement.

Couples & Marriage

Broken trust does not repair itself.

Whether the damage comes from infidelity, addiction, emotional distance, or years of unresolved conflict, the relationship will not heal on its own. Hoping things get better without honest work leads to deeper disconnection.

Rebuilding requires honesty, responsibility, boundaries, consistency, emotional safety, and communication. Couples counseling provides the structure and accountability that makes real repair possible.

Rob does not promise that every relationship will be saved. He does promise direct, honest guidance and the tools to make informed decisions about the future of your marriage.
